the toes, love the toes!!
ReplyDeletecute skirt too
does anyone know where i can buy a cute open back top? i've been looking all around sf for one.. =( Thanks
ReplyDeletehouse of hengst on valencia (next to the bike shop) has one or two tops left with an open back/ short cap sleeves. i think it's on sale for $95.
ReplyDeletevenus superstar on sutter street (cross larkin) may have some one of a kind tops just like that.
ReplyDeletealso check out rag on octavia... they carry local sf designers and i think i've seen a thick cotton top like that there.
support your local sf shops and designers! (above!)
ReplyDeletethe textile takes on a japanese feel from the 80's. the abstract waves and distortion of lines.
ReplyDeleteActually, I think this skirt is quite hideous. It's a perfect example of something being more appealing to people just because of the label.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, people if this wasn't Marc Jacbos, would you still like this?
I'm fond of crazy patterns, so I adore this skirt, not for the label (I could care less) but for the colors and pattern. Hey, I guess we all have different tastes now don't we?
ReplyDeleteI agree. To me, it is pretty hideous, but if it's someone elses thing...sweet! I love checking this site for reallllly good deals on designer items and just cute items in general.
ReplyDeletemj has been making some ugly stuff lately, but hey...it's not for everyone. thank god for a wide range of clothing...becuz it's hard to appeal to everybody!
ReplyDeletethanks but for 95 bucks?! yikes, i might as well get my self some seven jeans for that price =x but i guess it costs money to look good *^_^*
ReplyDeletethe skirt is priced @ $60.
ReplyDeleteretail is definetely over $95 though.
these are $165 as i recall. pretty damn pricy retail is. 60 is good. never pay retail for marc jacobs! they know they have an audience now so they are giving us not as great of quality as before with the same high retail price!
ReplyDeletet
"it costs money to look good"
ReplyDeletenah man, that's all in your head! it don't cost a dime to look good. but a dime can sure make you look like shit.
yay! dialogue!
ReplyDeleteyea, i agree. it does not cost money to look good. i'm all about thrift shopping and i can snag a great outfit for under $30.
ReplyDeletei love the controversy over this skirt and retail pricing in general. this is great!
ReplyDeleteyou guys are so silly.
ReplyDeletei like colorful skirts.
I would wear this if it were my size.
ReplyDeleteif this was in my size...
