The first event, Love Bizarre: A Hip Hop Cabaret back in December 2004, brought an immediate, overwhelmingly positive response!! the creative talent of Uno Nam brings us yet again another soulful fashion/hip hop event. Don't miss this upcoming event!
Fashion FUNK-tion is celebration of hip-hop, soul and style. An opportunity for local up and coming artists of several disciplines to combine their talents in one production, this semi-annual fashion show will be a flagship event for the artist and fashion community to meet, greet, and market their wares. Fashion FUNK-tion is not about high fashion but about street style—the clothes we love to wear, our attitudes and our urban sensibilities. Gusto, sex appeal and a sense of humor mark this event that caters to a forward-thinking audience. This event will be filmed.
Apparel by Evarize, Watermyth, Western Edition, and Gypsy Loic as featured at Future Primitive Sound Headquarters on Haight Street. Shoes by paolo. The best of retro beats and soul with DJs Funklor and Pause. Beatz n Pieces crew on the dance floor. Sponsored by Red Bull Energy Drink and Absolut Level vodka. This event was previously named Love Bizarre, The Fashion Edition on Jan. 16th. Hosted Absolut Level cocktails from 10-11.
