i bought this at the DKNY outlet in the south bay 5 years ago (the store closed down). it's a size 4 petite... i always thought i would fit a size smaller one day, but that day never came! so... number one advice: NEVER buy clothes that don't fit you! it'll just end up forgotton in your closet, and unloved.
give it some ♥! this would look great by itself, over jeans, over a puffy skirt, with a blazer, under a sweater, or your favorite vintage t-shirt. top it off with some bracelets (since the arms are three quarters length) and some cute flats! what la, you got yourself a simple outfit for the day!
details: size 4P; 100% wool/laine; 5 buttons down about 12 inchs; 3/4 arm length (about 12 inches); waist about 19 inches; 1 button cuffs; dress length is above knee (and shorter if you are taller) about 2.5 feet; gray w/ off-yellow stripes. chest/bust is about ~ 33 inches. :)
there's a little nick off the fabric at the left side of the back collar (that's why it was on sale at the outlet)

at first, it looked kinda boring, like old grandma wear, but then i realize that accessories and layering of clothing WILL do this dress wonders! hmmm... if i were to get it, what else could i do with the dress? what other things would go with it to give it more life?
i think the simplicity of this piece is what's so great about it. i have a tunic dress like this and i absolutely adore it. i purchased it about 8 years ago in high school. it's the life of any outfit!! :)

yeah i agree. it's the simplicity that gives it beauty!
winter = button it up, black slacks, black boots, members only jacket, scarf, cap.
summer = button down, tank top/tshirt inside or outside, sneakers or sandals.
pinstripes?
looks like it to me. looks too professional for me dough
