You will learn:
• Business Aspects: How to start, structure, and form a working business plan, get the proper licenses, get loans/ financing, the do’s and don’ts of using your own money...
• Developing, Producing, and Sourcing your line, store, boutique, or website: How to get your ideas or sketches made into samples, patterns, grading, and more. Securing fabrics, spotting trends, where to get manufacturers/factories, and how to deal with them. The importance of being prepared to deliver as well as how to implement your store, boutique or idea into place.
• Marketing and Brand Identity: How to pick and register your business name, the importance of logos, company image, and identity. Once you have that- how to target the right market based on what you are producing or offering.
