[EVENT] Worn Again Fashion Show -VA

Worn Again will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 from 6-11pm at Plant Zero in Richmond's Southside.
Worn Again is a spring fashion show that was conceptualized by Illustrator Garyt Shiflett and organized with Bizarre Market creator, Anna Virginia.
The show's unique goal is to bring a fun, fresh and exciting event for the Richmond art community and its supporters to enjoy. The event is in conjunction with Richmond Fashion Week, which includes the Catalyst 15 Fashion Show, the 10x10 t-shirt competition and more. In addition, Worn Again will be the final and biggest fundraiser for the Spokes campaign. Proceeds will also be going to WRIR 97.3FM.

On March 30, 2005 a clothing and materials drive will begin and continue through April 30th. All interesting bizarre, recycled and created materials are encouraged to be submitted. However, if you have articles of clothing you just can't wait to contribute, or get rid of, please e-mail Anna Virginia for drop-off/pick-up information at bizarremarket@chopsueybooks.com.

On May 1st the random lots of raw materials and textiles will be distributed at Chop Suey Books. From that point on the designers will have ten days to come up with their own individual and fresh wearable works of art.

Then on Wednesday, May 11th the designers will have the runway all to themselves to strut their creations during the fashion show at Plant Zero. Not only will the designers get to display their works of art but they will also be able to auction off their pieces to benefit Spokes and WRIR.
