Midsummer is magical in Scandinavia – days that never end, flowers in bloom and dancing around the maypole. On the eve of midsummer, girls of all ages get dressed in their best skirts or dresses and walk through the woods and meadows to pick bouquets of nine different flowers to put under their pillows.
