Blue Cube, SF
San Francisco's cultural climate has always embraced collaboration amongst artists, musicians and other creators. But as of late, more events and venues seem to be launching hybrid projects by putting art, music, performance, fashion, film and nightlife into one space, with fascinating results.
Panelists include:
Irene Hernandez-Feiks, founder and CEO of Chillin' Productions and the producer of the highly acclaimed Chillin' fusion events that meld fashion, music, art and film
Terrance Alan, Mayor of the Blue Cube, Commissioner of SF's Entertainment Commission and four-year Chairman of the SF Late Night Coalition
Tony Ash, founder of Artish.org, an online international gallery, networking and news source for artists
Baron Gordon, founder of the Alpha Monsters Collective, which balances professional art and design services with charity work through accessible art shows
DJ Seven, aka Sean Evans, co-founder of Lo-Rise Recordings and its sister down-tempo label Slo-Rise, producer of 111 Minna's long-running 'Blue' party, spinning sets throughout SF and the nation
Hosted by Spindle Desco and the Blue Cube, admission is free and donations are welcomed at the door to benefit the Spindle Design Collective and future forums. Beer and wine bar with ID. *Save the Date: JUNE 18!*
