[EVENT] Fab Market & Fuse-LA

FAB Market
A monthly street festival brings together artists, designers, and jewelers!

October 15, 2005, 12-6pm+, Free
SCI-ARC Gallery (east side of Sci-Arc)

The artists think FAB is fab because it gives them a place to get to know each other, and also—perhaps more importantly—because it gives them a regular venue at which their wares can be peddled. Unusual paintings? Edgy fashions? Interesting jewelry? Food? Music? All can be found at FAB, held on the third Saturday of each month.

During LA Fashion Week, Fab Market is hosting "
Fuse," a free runway presentation with more than a dozen designers including Cut Cute Couture, Bumble Bee, Sarah Perry and Gavin Carroll. The runway shows start at 2pm with shows every half-hour until 5pm—then there is a show every hour. Fuse’s independent runway series, featuring 10 emerging LA designers showcasing their spring 2006 collections.

FAB Market features over 50 of LA’s emerging artists & designers selling original one of a kind works of art, fashion, jewelry and gifts for the home. The October 15th FAB will feature fine art by artists such as: Omar Rashif, Lisa Levy, Melissa J. Regas, Alex Skramble, Pamela Houlihan, Patrick Haemmerlein and many more. Fashion designers will include: Spectr, Frecuencia Modulada, Bumble Bee, Sarah Perry, Araceli, Cut Cute Couture, Cristina Castellanos, Patrick Santa Ana, Elisa Padilla, Gavin Carrol, Angel Alban, Chi Izewaka, and more. Jewelry designers include: O Studio Works, Ali Baird, Beth Morrison, Susan Ankersen, ORit Harpax, Mataji Booker, Sherry Miljoner, Lara Noel Hill and more.

This was another incredible sample sale. Thanks for the heads up! I think I'm going broke from all these sales!
