Shoppers take a detour from trend-heavy Melrose Avenue boutiques to this sale full of emerging designers. The weekly event feels more sophisticated than a yard sale, less produced than a mega-sample sale, and more creative than any other shopping experience on the strip. The Co-op features a rotating cast of ten to 15 designers selling their goods slightly marked down.

stopped by melrose co-op on sunday.
it's a small space to support local LA designers. there were only 4-5 booths at that space instead of the stated 15.
this past sunday's vendors were mostly jewelry designers and jersey top designers.
