With Brooklyn being a central figure in the current production of youth culture we thought it well past due to have a fashion event that relates to the aesthetic of this neigborhood. Which is why Secret Project Robot, on behalf of Monster Island and in the spirit of fun is very excited to present the first ever annual Williamsburg Fashion Weekend, a celebration of local designers who transcend the borders between art, music and fashion. Each day will showcase the eclectic talents of two designers with artistic happenings that spread across a wide array of disciplines ranging from a maypole to hipster belly dancing.
