[sold] DIY Mini Skirt w/ Stripes $12

this skirt was made with love by ♥k in summer 2004.

i made myself a skirt last summer similar to this and received many compliments. (thank you!) so i ended up making a few more, each with its own variation in style. this one is a size large mini skirt that is meant to fall on your hips. of course, my signature underwear band is attached to the interior of the waistband. the skirt hangs on the side... but since the skirt is so versatile, you can twist it around to which ever side you want the drape to fall on... also, there's an iron transfer of karen o of the yeah yeah yeahs by brian ewing printed on it. since this is my last one, it's on sale for only $12! enjoy!

the great thing about DIY clothing is that you can always pinch, pull, sag, cinch at any angle, area, or hem and it would still look great! DIY CLOTHING is so versatile!!!

do it yourself. can you define "DIY Clothing" C? i'm a little confused. I understand that it means Do-It-Yourself.

i just came across your blog through a link. Very well done! I'll book mark it!

Do-it-yourself literally means Do-it-yourself. the culture of not buying from corporations but detaching yourself from it, and making, creating, doing it yourself.

i love fabric shopping.

I use to go fabric shopping at least once a week. But lately, I've been going once to twice a month.

I've heard many good things about the Fabric district in So-Cal but have yet to gone there these days. (I have went as a child, but do not remember anything except feeling really tiny among the big rolls of fabric!!!)

I usually go to Discount Fabric (SF, Berk), Britex (SF), and all the Vietnamese owned fabric stores in San Jose, California. I go to other fabric shops too, but not as much as though. I also like to go to crate & barrel because they now carry MARRIMEKKO's textiles!!!!! :) :) Too bad it's $35 a year though!
